Default lowering my RK

I am having an issue with height on my RK classic as I am 5'9" with a 30" inseam or so.

I bought 54631-02B the low profile shocks which I hope to install tomorrow.

How much lower will these put me.

Was thinking about doing that to my RK too, but too worried about scraping the floorboards, frame or pipes on turns if I lower it. Good luck. Let us know after you install it if you scrape.

I can only speak about my buddis bike which is an 08 RK Classic. He bought Street Glide shocks that were about 1" lower than the stock shocks. He's 5'9 and he loves it. He is able to put his feet flat on the ground. He bought them from the Stealership with his LEO discount and we put them on in about 30 minutes. It's about and inch and a quarter lower according to our redneck measuring system... But he loves it.

There's no way to lower it without changing shocks or is that the only way? I'm installing a mustang solo and I'm 5"8-9 also and I'm also worried about it changing my reach (sucks being shorter).

You guys can put an adjustable air ride system on your bikes for less than your shocks cost(about $200). Its adjustable on the fly and drops 5 1/2 inches.

I got the same shocks and got a lower seat...still wasnt qjite enough for me to feel like I had enough levarage to walk the bike around. Getting Progressive 1" lower monotubes installed in front now. The catalog says unless you lower the front as well you only drop about 3/4" with the 12" rear shocks.

Mine went down about 1" in the rear with those shocks....1.5" with me on it I also went with a Progressive Drop-In kit for the front which also brought it down 1.5, so my bike sits level when I'm on it. I weigh about 185, so I'm not a heavy weight
