I did a search and didn't have much luck. I'm looking for ideas to store the accessories when I want to ride bare bones. One of the things I love about my RKC is that when I am tooling around town I can remove the windshield, sissy bar, saddlebags, and luggage rack. Unfortunately I need a better method of storing and would love some type of wall mounted unit. I see there are plenty of units for the hard saddlebags but nothing for those of us with leather. Any thought, ideas, or experience???
the first thing that comes to mind is some vinyl coated bike rack tool rack hangers and/or some wire racks from Sam's for the bags. I could probably find ways to hand them up out of the way. I'm bagless for a couple weeks and it is uglllyyy.
Windshield storage is easy. I made a rack like Dave's out of copper tubing for the windshields and luggage rack. Personally I never ride my RK without the saddlebags, but I do have an extra set (originals) and just store them on a shelf. Just mount two threaded studs for each bag on a piece of wood and use wing nuts to secure the bags to them.
You remove the saddlebags of a Road King Classic when you're riding around town? Why didn't you just by a Heritage if you wanted that look? The King can't look good without bags...kind of like walking out the door with no pants on? C'mon man.

+ 1 Man, you can't ride around with the KING naked
Some good ideas posted here for storage. The only time I ride without saddlebags is when I am taking the bike to the dealer for service because there is no way I need the dealer banging them up. The RKC really looks fugly without the bags.

I don't think it looks ugly but looks like naked as TOK DADDY said.

I look good walking out of the house with no pants on.
