Default Go with the Mustang - you can return it if you don't like it.

I'm 6-6', 270 and had a real challenge finding the right seat on my Ultra. From repacking the stock seat, a Tall Boy sent out to Mean City Cycles to customize, a La Pera Daddy Long Legs, and finally a Mustang Super Touring. I really liked the La Pera for my riding position, but it just didn't do it for long days. The repacked Tall Boy is pretty good, but still has a limit to comfort on long days. I can ride all day on the Mustang without any discomfort. It's a little bit of a compromise on riding position compared to the La Pera and the Tall Boy, but it is super comfortable. I think it is because it is the widest and provides the most support on a long day.

The OEM seat was the first thing to go on my 2010 RK. I couldn't go 20 miles without feeling like I was squirming to find a comfy position. I read a lot of the threads on this forum and decided to try the Mustang solo, and what a difference. I've gone 500 miles in a single day and felt fine.

The only other one I looked at was the Corbin, but only because I think it is a better looking seat. Plus it has a locking feature that will keep it from being stolen. So, if my Mustang ever comes up missing, I'll probably replace it with a Corbin.

A friend of mine was not happy with his seat and our dealer had several different seats on hand for him to try out on his bike. He left his seat with the dealer and tried out each seat for several days to make up his mine. He decided on the Harley Hammock seat.

Ask your dealer if they have any to try.

Road Zepplin on my 09 UC! Raises you up about 1" & adjustable. Highway pegs are a must regardless of seat you choose.

On my second Corbin classic solo. Had an 0818 now a 12 streetglide .stock seat was the first thing to go. If you are close do the ride in and have it custom made at no extra charge. You won't be sorry.

Harley Brawler, it's hard and flat. but it's does just fine for me. I did a couple 500-700 mile days last year. I have always been a hard seat guy, and I like the ability to push back and move around a little bit.

Floor board and brake extension. Harley is taking advantage of us buyers, why not put heritage bars on all road kings, they fit more people. They are standard on police bikes for that reason! Anyway I have the same seat problem.
Same here, i am 5-9 #170......im trying the mustang wide super solo with heritage bars for RKs. I dont have a prob with the stock seat but it looks fugly with no pass backrest with a drivers backrest. The reach is not too far out but i understand the solo puts me back 1 1/2 and thats going to change everything.

People either love or hate Corbins. I put on a Corbin Dual Tourer, and couldn't be happier.
The GF also loves it. Worth the money, cause if she's hurtin after a ride, it's gonna be a lonely night for me.
