I don't have the alarm, but couldn't you pull the 40 amp fuse? Just wondering.

Wait, I do have an alarm, Colt .45 condition 1.

It seems like I remember that the fob sends a signal within 15 ft of bike. I tested that on my sportster. Probally be border line in a dual cab truck with bike on trailer.

The question I've got is how many of us stay in a down and out motel, parked right in front of your room with your keys and fob laying on the table in the front of room? Is your bike protected? Probally not.

Thats why I would pull Battery out of fob knowing I was that close to bike.
