My employer decided to move my job to mexico. We were living in upstate NY and used that as a reason to move to a better climate. We packed up and moved to Concord NC. I found a job at a Harley dealer and am having fun with it. My 2004 Road King Custom was a great bike, but didn't ride as good as the wife would like on long trips and as I can Ride pretty much all year here and the old bike was getting up in miles I traded it for a left over 2011 RGU with the power pack. I am just amazed at how nice this bike is. It feels much lighter than the road king and handles slow speeds much better. I will have the stage 1 done tomorrow, I am going with the V&H HO slip ons. After about 1000 miles it will be cam time wooo hooo. I wish I had bought this bike a long time ago.

I wish you guys would stop buying these beautiful road glide ultras . I have road glide fever . I just hate to start over on mods . Just getting the flht to where I like it . How is the wind in and around fairing ?

Thank guys. This bike gets better every time I get on it. It is a little breezy with the wind splitter shield but not a problem at all. Still can't get over how well this bike handles.

On the windsplitter - I tried it and took it back. Clearview for me and yes you can light a bic at 65mph!
