Hate is a very strong word. I don't use it often. However when talking about winter it fits well. I hate winter!! Winter last an eternity here and snow is a four letter word.
You are being sarcastic.....right? I mean you're in Texas!!!!
Just a bit of sarcasism......I moved to Texas 2 years ago from Middletown Ohio. After 43 years of putting up with the Ohio winters even the mild winters here in Texas suck! Give me the heat!
I love winter, heck the best months to ride is Oct to late May....
I was born and raised in the midwest (Ill and Mich) so I know all about winter, been in FL for 28 years now and loving every winter.
Hate winter... No time for mods, weather here stay's ridable year round in Texas. I find myself riding daily... just sucks with no down time for the bike or me. Guess I just have to console myself in knowing I am saving lots of $$ not making changes or modifications while I get to ride my girl...
If it wasn't for my parents, I'd leave Chicago 10 minutes ago. While some people are out riding, us midwesterners are shoveling snow and layering shirts and down coats. If winter was a person, I'd punch them in the neck....just below the ear!
I don't mind the winter. Sometimes I have to wear a warmer jacket, but not always. It was in the low 80's most of the weekend. A great time to be out riding. I don't usually ride up to the mountians in the winter, but riding out to the desert is fun.
I hope spring comes soon for all of the riders living east and north of me.
