When I got the 08 Street Glide it was a stretch for me. The bike I had before that was a 76 shovel in a hardtail frame with a jockey shift. Well, in a little over 3 years and 61K miles later, I thought it was time for a real touring machine.

Never thought We'd own a real garbage barge, but now we've got an 11 Limited. I needed to individualize it so I had this shifter linkage made for it.

To me a Limited is anything but a "barge",but hey to each his own. I was thinking more of "TOL",top of the line".

"Barge"...I must assume this a term of "endearment" for the "Bike", that now fits your riding style ? I too made the difficult transition to a LTD, figuring I would skip the softail Deluxe and even the Street Glide bike years ...LOL
