Default cd help

this may be a dumb question. i cant get a cd to eject from the radio. any ideas ???? i have tried all i know.

Don't know if this will work for your 08, but my 09 SM says to pull the maxifuse (main fuse) and wait 5 minutes, then turn the radio power on and press the eject button.

I presume they failed to mention to reinstall the main fuse B4 trying the procedure... tHE sm The SM went further to say that if it desn't eject "the radio is faulty and must be replaced".
I hope the fuse procedure works for you!

thanks i will try that radio works great just cant get cd out of it.

glide, If the procedure doesn't work I would think there would be other ways to get the CD out.
Maybe contact Iron Cross Audio who may have another method. ICA do a lot of work on HK radios including changing the color of the background and intalling pre-amp connectors for cleaner sound so I think they could be your next point of call.

personally I would try everything I could before taking it to a dealer "for replacement". (unless you have a extended warranty?)

There was another thread on this recently ... and it went into detail on how to get the CD out .... do a search and I'm sure you'll find it. Good luck brother!
