103 stage II or Custom bars???

One or the other will be my Christmas gift. Dealer is having a special on the 103 stage II for 1500.00 out the door and Im really having a hard time on deciding what to do. My next original mod was going to be 16" custom apes with chrome switches and braided lines, but now I have something else to think about. The 96 only has about 27000 miles on it and to me runs like a champ, was gonna wait till she clocked well over 50000 before I did the big bore but now cant decide, what would you guys do. Just wanting to hear some different views on the situation.

Bars. If you like the motor now and already told yourself 50k then wait it out. I have new bars and a stage 2 103 and like the bars more than the new motor.
