The sticky in the classified ads section says 25 posts. I'm a member at a couple forums for Nissans and they have a feedback system built into the forum. In the meantime, it would be easy to put a link in our profiles to an ebay page to show at least some kind of history. At least for me. I'm a new member with not very many posts yet. It may give a little bit more of a trust level.

I've bought many items from the classifieds here... not one problem.. except for slow shipping lol

Left feedback for the sellers which seems to go away a couple of days after I post it.

Wonder why that is ?

Correction, You Have To Have Been A Member For At Least 30 Days And Have At Least 5 Posts (Unrelated To The Classified Section) To Be Considered An Active Member.

This was changed this summer.

Never bought anything off here, but have sold. Had one issue where I shipped the item to the wrong address (long story). Manged to get it retrieved through UPS, and redirected to the correct place. Buyer was very understanding.

Stick with members with higher post counts. Try to get a phone number. Stay in contact. Bottom line though Caveat emptor.

I bough a $250 part from a member and it went well. I then purchased a $60 part from him and he never shipped it...go figure. Anyway, I got paypal involved and got my money back. I've purchased several items here and I much prefer it over ebay.

I think you as well as other vendors have too much to lose so you as well as the other vendors are probably 100% above board. it is some of the private parties that can be trouble. I was reading just today in the classified about something not being sent and funny thing is I think karma might have been in play as I sent that same guy something and only wanted postage for the part and he blew me off. It was only 4.95 so I did not make any deal out of it but thought it was humorus when I read his post.

I got my 05 Road King Custom from someone on this site about 3 years ago.
I spent a lot of time talking to the guy on the phone, and many emails before I sent
the check, and had the bike picked up from him. My bank told me I was NUTS to send money to a stranger, but somehow I knew he was a good guy from our conversations. I know, maybe I am nuts to do a deal that way, but got a good deal on the bike, and am still very happy with it.
Peace
