has anyone ever bought something off of the forums classified from a member and never recieved it or recieved it and was disappointed. is their any recourse.
I bought some heads. They got damaged in shipping due to very poor packaging. The seller gave me grief about a refund. I posted the situation on the forum and he got a lot of flack about it. Got my $$$ back less the shipping. Have had other good deals too.
the requirement of 100 posts before listing something for sale seems to filter out the scum, they go back to ebay ( where i had so many bad transactions, I just gave up-- misrepresented items over and over)
never the less check a sellers activities on the forums, 1 seller seems to be parting out bikes in a "retail" operation, not a fellow rider just clearing out the garage
I have had only one bad experience and that was recently on a sissy bar pad. It was not as described. I ended up getting a refund but was out shipping and the guy was not happy i opened a dispute with PayPal but I was glad I did.
Nothing but good also, bought a sundowner seat, sissy bar, and a few other things off it. Never had a problem. Matter of fact just sold a bearing puller on there too nothing but smiles all around
