i always watch these forums for parts im looking for.. sold many parts never a complaint and bought some too..
.i just sold a part yesterday for my no internet savy father all to realize he had given it to a fellow local club member...guy had already pay paled me the money so i promptly refunded his money and threw him a few dollars to buy a beer for the inconvience ( i felt like an ashat!) and he refunded the extra back to me and thanked me for the thought but he knows stuff happens...its all about good communication with buyer/ seller... ive never had a bad deal...just on flea bay
Ive bought and sold quite a few items, all went well except for this one guy I forgot his name but he was a parts peddler out of Texas, sent me some crap brake parts that in his mind were excellent condition, but were dented/gouged and he never drained the dot 3 out. Ask my mailman about that one. He was a total jerk about the whole thing never got anything back.
But that was only 1 person, Ive probably made a couple dozen transactions flawlessly.
My thinking is the bigger issue here is with the shipping and especially the packing. I am right in the middle of an issue where the items were damaged in shipment. Right now they are on there way back to the place or origin to be inspected by the folks in brown. I will post the out come of this. Just from what I have learned so far it will impact the way I ship.
Lots of great transactions here and on other forums............ guy got me with a bad check for $225.00 on a set of heads on another forum. He never posted after that, did some research on him and I was small potatoes copaired to others he burned for much more.......buyer beware

Good luck... When it comes to ups it doesn't matter if it was their fault or not they are going to say it was improperly packaged...
I had a door for my Trans Am shipped to me from Cali. Despite the shipper making a very nice, solid, custom crate for it out of 2"X4"s UPS still dropped it out of the back of a semi, shattering the crate and ruining the door. You guessed it UPS said it was improperly packaged and denied the claim.
It was the 4th door that the seller had shipped over a few years. Ups ruined them all, denied the claims on all of them.
UPS had even inspected his packaging before shipping and said it was great and well done. After they ruined the door they changed their story.
Lucky for me I was dealing with a great, stand up guy who was understanding and worked things out with me.
made two so far with no problems.waiting on the third to be delivered.everyone is so easy to deal with.and im a p.i.a to deal with.i dont expect anyone on here screwing anyone intentionally the verbal beating they would take is not worth it.go for it and enjoy the bargains.
Bought lots of stuff thru the classified and in the most part everyone is honest and had one problem with a seller shipping out and he made up for that with a price change. So nothing but positve experiences
I've sold three items on here. Its best to list all the details. I rather a guy know about why Im selling it and give photos. I never buy anything with out pics and details to why it being sold. I would research a seller on the forum an watch his or her post before buying.
I had one item not get delivered. The tracking number said delivered. I fought with ups, they cut me a check and I sent him his money back.
