If everyone here is accurate, the 103 is not much of an improvement over my 88. I'm running slip on exhaust, SE air cleaner and 204 cams, after the dyno tune my numbers are 70 HP and 80 torque. those numbers are certainly not earth shattering, though they look really good next to the 25HP my 45 Flat Head puts out.
Really hard to top hoofnhog's reply but, here are some dyno numbers I've seen:
Stock TC-88 - 55 HP, 60 TQ
TC-88 with Screamin' Eagle Air Cleaner and V&H Big Shot Staggered - 58 HP, 63 TQ
Stock TC-96 - 65 HP, 80 TQ
TC-96 with Stage 1 Kit - 70 HP, 85 TQ
Stock 103 - 68 HP, 85 TQ
103 with Stage 1 Kit - 75 HP, 90 TQ
Take those with a grain of salt. Unless you run them all on the same dyno (which these weren't), the variance in results can be staggering. I've seen cases where two supposedly identical dynos would give results that varied by more than 10% (with the same ambient conditions).
