Is the landing gear only for amputees? Or is it for "riders with any sort of difficulty keeping their motorcycles upright when coming to a stop or at low speeds due to physical limitations"? Short legs on a taller bike would be a physical limitation wouldn't it?
Your absolutely right, I guess I didn't think that through too well. In my mind the Landing Gear is more for disabled riders, I don't count chronic shortness as a disability. Sorry folks no offense meant toward short or disabled riders.
Hey everyone, I've got a lady who I'm working with on a Roadking and she said that someone told her that there is a system out there that automatically drops the suspension of the bike when they come to a stop. I have never heard about this, and was wondering if any of you guys have?
She is 5'2" and very adament about getting a Roadking.
Thanks
I'm 5'2" and I own a 2010 SG, and have the dropped seat kit by BaggerWerx installed on my bike. With that setup I have both of feet flat on the ground when at the stop. For me it was well worth it, and it is also less expensive than the Landing Gear.

Thanks for calling by Chantal - I have an image that most of these discussions are by 6 foot plus butch males! Not often we get an expert input. What do you wear on your feet?
