Looking for Instruction Sheet for Compact Air Compressor
I'm looking for the instruction sheet number (i.e. JXXXXX) for the HD Compact Air Compressor with Light (pn 12700020). I'm considering purchasing this and I was just curious what the instructions say. I realize this isn't a complicated piece of equipment (lol). I was curious about the electrical draw of the unit. From a previous search I did, someone mentioned that the pump had a 15 amp fuse. Reading the description of the product, it says it plugs into the battery charging harness.
1. What I noticed is that the Battery Tender Plus comes with a battery charging harness with a 3 amp fuse. The HD Battery Tenders come with a charging harness that has a 7.5 amp fuse.
I never noticed this difference in the past and wonder if the gauge of the harness is also different?
2. Seems strange that the compressor has a 15 amp fused connection that gets plugged into a 7.5 amp fused connector.

I couldn't find the sheet online.
I use a similar $15 product "slime" brand from auto parts store- plugs into the lighter in the fairing, cord is long enough to reach front/rear, other bike.
So there's an alternative @ 40% the cost
The gauge of the wire isn't an issue it'll hold 20 amps no problem, I think the tender has a lower rated fuse as the tender has no more than 1 amp going through it by design.
if same wiring connection is used for something else than the fuse should be changed for that load.
