Default Headlight loose?

I just pulled the outer fairing off and I noticed that the headlight moves (rattles). I grabbed the back side of it (the plug area) and I can wiggle the headlight. It's not a lot but it definitely seems too much.

Is this right? or should it be captured in the headlight assembly (front ring) firmly?

More info, I took a closer look and it looks like the retaining ring that is held on with 3 screws is bent. This could be from the Turkey I hit last spring. The think is the chrome ring that goes over this assembly is not damaged at all.

Here are a couple pics of the 3 screw tabs, I don't think they are supposed to be bent like this.

You're suppose to hunt turkeys with a gun........ But then again, a headlight is cheaper than a box of shotgun shells nowadays !
