Has anyone got the 2 1/2" jackpot headpipes on there 103 ultra, and how much of a difference did they make in heat reduction and performance? I'm looking to loose the cat headers
I've got the 2-1-2 Jackpot header and it's a quality piece. Can't really say on the heat reduction because I changed it out so early on mine that I have nothing to compare to.
If anyone has a infrared thermometer and a stock bike with the cat, I'd like to know what kind of temps you measure at the cat. I've measured my Jackpot at approx 470 deg in the same area.
Thanks 2black1s, I know putting in the tts has helped some with the heat and a heck of a lot on power . I want to do a swap on the complete exhaust this winter. I got two S/E fatshotz with low hours im selling right away. Im looking to go a little louder when I do the swap.
I just sold my Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers because they were too loud for me. I'd like to hear those Fatshotz.
Well, you just answered my next question. I'm not really sure what muffler I'm going back with . The Jackpot was one of my choices alone with V&H Monster rounds and crusher. Wonder what the jackpot pro touring sounds like. I got a video of the fatshots. I'll load it and shoot it to you.

The Pro Tours are louder than the 4" Jackpots, I just switched not long ago from the PT pipes to the 4" pipes.
Santa is coming to my house at least twice this year. I expect him sometime tomorrow and have asked for a Power Vision,Dyno tuned Jackpots, AC and a head pipe. He will be here on the 20th with my headpipe maybe the elves are slacking?
On a serious note they shipped out the same day I ordered and are coming from California of all places. Kind of ironic because California is probably why I have CATS in my stock headpipes in the first place. Looks kind of strange, might be some kick backs going on there? Oh well at least they are American made.
I had the 3.5 dynotuned jackpots on my 09 SG (with stock no cat headpipe) and liked them so much I decided to do it again. I am sure the Stage one will help with heat because with my 09 103 SG heat was never a issue. Not that it is a issue now (Fall/Winter season) but I do notice a difference fall / winter vs summer riding with the SG. My SG was cooler in the summer vs my limited in the fall season and about the same in the winter. My goal was to get my 1st service and Stage 1 mods complete before spring and it looks like I have been a good boy because I think its going to happen
P.S. I passed on the ceramic coating because of my expirience with the stock 09 cat less header. If I get the same results I will be happy.
FM makes a very nice quality piece in that 2-1-2 headpipe. Not only does it remove the 'cat' from the exhaust system, it does it in such a way that later tuning is a breeze.
I ran the ceramic coated Jackpot pipe with 4" Dyno-Tuned mufflers, along with a custom TTS tune. I got rid of a 2:1 Fatcat because it was too loud, the Jackpot setup was (sound-wise) perfect.
I'm one of the weirdos who never had an issue with heat on the bike (and I rode it for 5,000 miles stock). The Jackpot pipe was definitely cooler on my right foot, but again, I didn't think the stock pipe was bad at all. Performance-wise, I'd be hard-pressed to tell you there was a seat-of-the-pants difference between the Fatcat and the Jackpots. Maybe if I'd had a larger engine or cams, but at stage 1, you're talking about a difference of 1 or 2 horsepower or ft-lbs.
Based on the quality of the parts, their performance, and the unbelievably high level of service from FuelMoto, I unhesitatingly recommend the Jackpot exhausts.
