Default handlebar

I have an'05 ultra classic w/ standard handlebars, and i'm getting up in the years and have noticed it would be more comfortable riding, if my grips were about 1 inch higher and back 1inch. i used to have a road king 8 years ago that had heritage bars on it and was very comfortable. my harley dealer can't seem to find a bar that would fit my ultra an raise the bar grip up i inch and back 1 inch. would anyone know of such a bar i could use? i want to go on the run to the wall in may and really need to make it just a bit easier on these aging bones. i'm only 71, and still have a ways to go, i hope. thanks, Dave

I put the HD 2" pull back touring bars on my 2011 Ultra. There was a fair amount of adjustment for personal preference up or down before I tightened everything down. You may find that fits your needs.

Good luck sir

Might look at a set of pullback risers too.

Wild One 575s. Worked for me. Excellent quality. 1 1/4" diameter. Designed to accommodate internal wiring. Perfect fit for an Ultra.

u should use a +4 clutch cable for the khromewerks or wild ones, although some have rerouted the stock cable and made it work.

Put 575's on my 06. 2 inches higher, 2 inches closer and 2 inches wider. bends and wrist angle are identical to stock. Top quality bars. Love 'em. Did not have to replace my clutch cable. It is run behind and over top of the stereo. I re-routed it under my stereo (glovebox, I have an FLHT) and gained about 3 inches. Perfect. The fat bars look good also! Be sure and go with the one piece replacement clamp. People that don't do this have had their bars break in the middle. The hole in the center of the bars that allows the internal wiring to exit is a weak spot.
