The Dragon is all the hype with lots of folks who say they plan on attending.
I won't be anywhere near that stretch, too much better riding in surrounding areas... don't want to meet one of those "amateurs" head-on either.

Beav, You got that right. I rode The Dragon this summer. If you ride within your limits, no problem. The biggest danger I encountered were riders going in the opposite direction and coming over the lines. Had to create a greater margin for error.

the ones that think they are invincible and come up behind you, don't give you two secs to react to move over, just pass you, and then cut you off because of the other person coming the other way and crossing the line!
Still, we did the dragon this year, 1st time. Glad I did it, enjoyed it and the other 95% of the fab roads around there.
