I think we ought to qualify -- but for reasons only someone who has sat on a 270 degree engine in 102 degree heat with 97% humidity would understand! The other side of the calendar is just as difficult to ride in, for other reasons, and you can only take so much clothing off before citations start coming your way!!! Yeah, just a weekend ago, rode to Jefferson, Texas... Sign on the bank in town read "36" -- and with the 70+ mph we had been doing for about an hour before that, we had 17 degree windchill. We recovered quickly once inside our destination... But the heat side of things down here in Houston can get pretty unbearable as well!!!

This is first year w/ my first Harley.....a RK Police. I just can't bring myself to park it. Luckily here in Nebraska, Mother Nature has been good to us. No snow (knock on wood) and temps in the 40s (sometimes up in the high 50s) had prolonging my inaugural riding season.
