What color are the 4 gauges you would like to sell?

Yes, you can set the mileage. You have 100 miles to set the mileage by using the method in the instructions; once set it can not be changed.

Thats why I wont buy a used bike with digital after market gauges. If you trade it in, its likely to be sold as TMU(true mileage unknown). Just something to think about.

They can be sent in to be changed. When I set the wifes bike I screwed up and put it as kilometers instead of mile. Called Dakota Digital and explained what happened and they had me send the gauge to them with the info I wanted loaded. Great customer service because they did it for free even though it was my mistake.

Right after I installed the gauges I brough the bike to my local dealer in order to add the mileage to my service record. Besides the average yearly mileage on a Touring bike is 5,000 to 6,000 miles. I surely would not "turn away" from a good deal on a used bike because of digital gauges...IMO.

You can solve this easily , when I put them on my old bike it was several years old , I had the dealer certify my miles before removing the old speedo and verify what I set the new one to , on my 2011 I didn't do that because I have the sales receipt , I bought them a month before the new bike arrived and changed them out immediately , I doubt anyone would look at when I bought the bike and gages and not be able to figure out they were put on new

Do these gauges have to be calibrated in any way? Or are they just plug and play and they calibrate automatically? If they have to be calibrated, how hard is it to do?
