If this has been brought up before, sorry I missed it. Can anyone tell me the overall height diff. between the stock tired 16" compared to the 21" with the Avon or Metz?

You know ther have been many topics about this 16 to 21 inch tire business, and I have the same question....in fact, I have a Street Glide which is already lower from the factory and obviously if I go to a 21 on the front I will have to slam down the front end even more by about 1 /2 inches by my calculation. Now, keep in mind the bike rins a bit tighter than a stock height front end, let alone when I lower it again.....what to do?

nardo, I went over to my buddies just now and measured his 21" with a Avon, it was 26" overall. Then I measured my 16", it was 23". Hope that helps somebody. Later

Dawg....I think 18" is still legal, right? Now that you mentioned it tires are boring compared to a good sawed-off side by side!
