I'm changing my cat header for a Jackpot 2-1-2 ceramic header and I am looking for a 4" slip-on with the same type tone as the SE 65115-10 thunder street muffler. I know mufflers will be louder without the cat. I just don't want to loose low end grunt.
Try the old muffs with the header change, see what they sound like.
Then you can make a move if you feel the need. They don't call en "slip-ons" for nothing.

Good advice. You are going to like that header. I have the non-ceramic version and I was pleased with the construction an fitment.
I also have the pro-touring mufflers. Like the sound they make, kinda unique.
