Road Kings an Corbins...
I keep hearing stories of bad customer service, which I don't doubt, but I didn't experience anything like that from them. I'd definitely buy another seat from them, and lots of other Corbin owners say the same thing.
Thank you for all the replies it has really helped me in my understanding of seats an frames etc..
After all I have read and seen I want to go with a Mustang smooth solo, If anyone has one collecting dust please let me know, There is a bike even in NYC at the Javits center so if I cant find one here or on Ebay I may buy all my stuff at the JAvits on late Jan
Good seat !! It puts me a little close (It's a Gunfighter close I think)
I just like the look and it's comfortable enough w/great lwr back supt.
I had a Corbin touring seat for awhile. I even took it back to Corbin's in Hollister (about 45 min from here) and had it re-done. It was ok at best.
But(T) for the long haul, like a 2 or 3 hundred mile day -- The Mustang
goes on. I've never been sore after a ride. The backrest is adjustable back & forth and up & down (w-o removing the seat - unlike Corbin where you do have to remove the seat to install or adj the backrest)
Good quality seat. It fits perfect and mounts on the sides like the stock seat for added supt. Plus on the Softail, the width blocks the little bit of heat from the oil tank.
