Default Upgrading seat.

Thinking about upgrading this stinkin factory on my 2010 EGC seat to either a HD Hammock or a HD Road Zep seat, have any of you guys had your butts on these seats and if so what did you think or what seat would you suggest.

Thanks a bunch.

I have the Harley Hammock on my 2010 Road King. Couldn't be happier with it... A$$ candy for sure!!... I was going to look at the Sundowner and the sales guy had me try the hammock as well... Never took it off the bike after a quick trip around the parking lot. It's expensive but worth it....

I did not like the seat that came with my 2011 SG. It's made poorly and was not comfortable. I decided to go with Corbin Solo Tour: http://www.corbin.com/harley/baggers/hdflh9-st.shtml

I've tried a few different seats over the years from HD, Corbin and Mustang. I finally found Ultimate Seats a few years ago and have had an Ultimate seat on two bikes now. These seats are well made and very comfortable for me. http://www.ultimateseats.ca/

Send your stock seat to Allen @ Mean City Cycles and get a sit that fits YOU and is more comfortable, and save some cash.

I agree 100% with Fire-Medic. I have spent lots of $ on seats for various bikes over the years but having someone with the knowledge and expertise work on your seat is really the way to go. They can adjust for your desired riding position, weight, as well as customization if you want. Do a search and read the comments on Allen’s work. You will find a higher percentage of people happy with what he has done to mod the seat they already had then you will find on this seat versus that seat.
