I would like to have my inner fairing painted but don't know which route I should take, order one from HD, have it painted locally by an body shop. I found a guy on ebay that will paint it for 275.00 + shipping.
Has anyone had experience with this guy?
What can I expect to pay at an autobody shop (going rate).

$80 Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat

 

I paid $150...at an auto body shop. This included the mirrors. It looks perfect. I would find a good local shop. Too much risk of scuffing during shipping. I wouldn't buy the over priced hd one. Just my $.02

 

I just got mine done today. Guy comes and installs the painted one for $300 total.
