It depends on how YOU wire the lights up. I upgraded my road king rear lights at the time of purchase. Converted the amber lens to red and all lights functioned as running lights.this was accomplished by the module the dealer put in between the plug connector at the beginning of the wire harness for the *** end.

The four wires on the sinister lights are for run, brake, turn, and ground. The HD wire harness has the same, the two rows of LED's on each light are independent. If I follow the diagram supplied by sinister, One row is for turn, one row is for run, both rows are for brake. Tied to the corresponding wires in the harness. I bought the badland module http://www.badlandsmotorcycleproduct...ic-Modules.htm. The way the lights are wired now is turn and brake are tied together and ground. I eliminated the run wire on the LEDs. and the corresponding ones in the harness. Without something controlling the function of the lights, the module, the lights will have to be wired with one row per function. Neither badlands or sinister schematics are very good, I am breaking mine down for paint soon I will photo the wiriing if you PM me.

Default Sinister LED's

Tail Light Conversion - I installed HD fender fillers with Sinister Industries Jaded LED tail/run/brake lights. It really cleaned up the rear end of my Ultra. Here are the before and after pictures.

These lights are Bright and work well. Both rows are running lights, the outer rows function as the turn signals, and the inner row functions as the brake light. The wiring was a little tricky for me, but I am very pleased with how it turned out.

Maybe I am doing something wrong. I only have one row as running light and the other row does either turn or brake. Everything seems the same intensity. Can you tell me how you wired it up.

Here is the wiring diagram I created with my installation. I hope you find this helpful.

I have the Sinister jaded and I think they are plenty bright for daytime. I will try to get some pics later today and post them.

Here is a pic of my sinister lights. I used a badlands modulator. I know its not a daylight pic, but my shop is well lit.

I also used a badlands module (illuminator) take all the three colored wires and tie together on each of the sinister lights. The black is ground. This will power both strips of LEDs. The module will tell the lights to operate as turn, run or brake,
