Default tri glide trees on 06 sg

I did a search didn't find what I was looking for. Has anyone did the tri glide trees on a 06,07 or 08 sg? If so did you use the 09 tri glide trees pn 83374-09 and 83404-09?

We did this on a 2007 FLHX at the shop. Used the part#'s you have listed. I thought I had a picture of the bike in my dropbox folder but apparently don't.

theres a write up here somewhere that will be helpful. You'll definately need the fairing skirt for a tri-glide. The write up recommends 1 3/4" bolts to clamp the fork tubes, but 2" were perfect in my opinion. I couldn't find the 1 3/4" at any of the suppliers in the area and I thought I was going to have to cut the 2", but they fit perfectly. I just got done putting them on my '12 FLHX. I'm still waiting on my fairing skirt to come in as I thought I could get by without it and didn't order it at the time I ordered the trees. I did a small progress report on a 23" front tire on a SG recently and trying to keep everyone interested up to date. If you do the 23" and want to use your stock front fender, you either need to order extension brackets or fabricate your own. I just did a set and put my front fender on tonight. I moved it up 1 5/8" but had some binding in the rear part of the fender. I just kicked the back end up a bit and I have a good fit.
