like the 8.5" on my SG. its very stable going down the freeway, no vibrations.
dark smoked looks good against my orange. im 6' & it doesnt block all the wind but i would say 85% of it. did i mention it looks cool too.
bit pricey but what isnt these days that you like.
I have the 8.5inch, it is good, I think I could easily see over the top on an 11inch and certainly would like to try this larger size for long highway rides and cold days.
Kind of like seats, i would like to switch around depending on what I am doing, its all good.
I tried both 6.5 and 8.5 Flares, they work to stabilize ride better at speed, but neither worked for me. I was too high above the top and got wind directly in the face. I finally went with LRS ultra 10 " recurve. Finally I have the right shield for me. Trying one with your body trunk size, seat height and the actual figment on your bike is important. Best to try before you buy with ability to return. I wasted $ on two Klock Werks shields before finding another that fits best for me.
I have a 7.5 in one (measured from the top of the fairing to top of shield) wind hits me right in the face , used it fron dealer to my hoiuse and removed it. It can be had for $100 shipped.
Had a 6.5 but swapped it out for an 8.5 with a friend - he's a tiny bit taller than me and it worked for him - my sig pic was taken when the 6.5 was still on
