Either I never noticed this open hole or I'm missing a bolt. I'm polishing up my 06 Road King Classic and as I'm passing the towel over the Clutch Release Cover I noticed a bolt hole that I'm assuming should have a bolt in it. Not on the cover itself, but on the Transmission Side Door that the cover attaches too. On the right hand side of the cover there are three bolts holes. Top, middle and bottom. The bottom bolt also has a bracket that helps hold the muffler. The top bolt is in place as well. It's the middle bolt that seems to be missing. It looks like a thick washer is in the hole, but not a bolt
So, I go into my Clymer Maintenance Manual for my bike to see what size bolt I need to get and the schematic shows only the top and bottom screws being in place. Nothing is in the middle hole. So now I'm not sure if I actually need a bolt there. Hence my question. Am I missing a bolt or not? If I am missing a bolt, does anyone know what size it is?
