Thank you all. The 96 cubes with F.i. has been impressive. The prior owner made so many upgrades. Big *** lights, upgraded stereo and speakers, cruise control, center stand, K&N airfilter, vance and hines exhausts....
You got yourself a nice find... 96" EFI without the throttle-by-wire that the new ones come with. I've got the same center stand and think you're gonna love it (ride-off without needing to put your feet down)... Congrats indeed!
Same thing happened to me. Test drove a new SG and ended up training the Sporty in on it.
Love my new SG.
Hecklerboy, I didn't even get to test ride it; the wife says "you need to trade your Sporty on that red sled" and two hours later I rode the sleigh home...

yeah, and the dealer didn't give him anything for those when he traded it in, but they sure did add them to the price when you bought it. not that you got a bad deal, if you're happy then its a good deal.
congrats on the purchase. enjoy many miles of smiles
paid my trade off without adding to the top. Reduced the price to almost what I wanted. 3 year / unlimited mileage warr., and a drivers backrest to boot.

See, sometimes listening to your wife can be a good thing.
I feel way more confident throwing it into the corners than I did on my Sporty.
Are you nuts? Haven't you heard how awful the 2007s are? Too hot, rattle in tranny and all that other crap. It's all I can do to ride that one of mine.
Welcome to the asylum. You made a great choice and will love it more every time you ride it. Pay no attention to the naysayers. I love mine and plenty of others on here do also.
