Default Power Vision Temp Location While Data Loggin

Hello, i got all my fuel moto goodies installed today 2-1-2 headpipe, stage 1 intake, pro touring pipes and a power vision. I do not want to mount the power vision on my handle bars but will need it connected to the bike for a few sessions of data logging. I was thinking of just running the data cable out of the left side plastic cover and just putting the power vision in my jacket pocket. I would appreciate any other suggestions or ideas. Thanks

When I get mine I was thinking that I'd just put it in the left side bag (RKC)

Left side saddle bag, I have the Fat Baggers tray in the top of my bag so it just sits right on top.

i don't even do that. just run the cable out the left side cover, and lay the pv in the bottom of the left saddlebag, on top of a bandanna or microfiber cloth.

Ok, i have hard bags. Will they latch with the cord going in them? That would be a much better option.

yeah, i just run the cord into the bag and latch it. i suppose if it were to stay that way for a long time, it might have some negative consequences for the cable. but for the short time that it is hooked up for datalogging, i don't think it's gonna be a problem.

Cool, i will try that tomorrow. I guess a couple data runs is all i would need. I tried putting the cord in the the bag and it wasnt that tight. Nothing i would want to do over an extended period of time but it should be ok.

Saw this in the EFI Tech section ... I think I'm going to pick up this mount so I can see a little of what's going on while I ride. I don't want to mount the PV permanently full-time, but with a little selective tie-wrappage, it'd be a good semi-permanent solution for not much dough ($17).

If you have the touring saddlebag guard bags you could put it in there.
