To fix the over heating issue i am gonna try having some cooling fans on the amp. I have a few dual fans from some xbox 360's laying around so I came up with something for cooling the whole thing down, I wired it up and pluged it into a plug for a gauge I dont have. Not sure if it is gonna work but it is worth a try......
I will try that next if just lowering the gain dont work, I am tired of taking the front off....... I figured it was just over heating.....
i was told to do this by all the stereo goo roos & trust me it works. you still get a slight amount of mid through the speakers you just dont get the base that distorts them...........im telling you you will like it
Well ordered my amp last night. Got a decent deal I think 171.77 coming from LA should be here Tuesday.
So I have the ARC audio KAR230 speakers with tweeters and currently my cross overs are on top of my head unit... Anyone have an idea of a spot to put the cross overs?

pretty much. you dont need a turn on wire cause you use the hi level inputs witch turns the amp on that way.
it was a very straight forward install when i did mine.

Yea I was wondering what the reason behind me not being able to PM was... Just wondering if it was plug and play install and if you stashed everything inside the fairing as well. That would be great to meet up and check them out. I was trying to decide between that and the TruckLite LED..

Bobber,
I did the PBR 300X2 install the other day and made a bracket to go on top of the radio, but it has some air in between the radio and amp for cooling.
Chills,
I don't get why you want to take away all the bass in the tunes? I tried placing the amp in High Pass and it sounded like the music was in a tunnel. I must be missing something. I am running Polk Audio MM651. They seem to put out some decent bass.
