When there is a heat source going in the garage, usually the dryer, I have a ceiling fan on full blast, and the garage door cracked a couple of inches. This keeps the moisture off the bike and wife's car. It may still be there, but it's not in liquid form all over them.
That's why I fire-up my bikes weekly to burn out that moisture.
...while depositing said moisture in ur oil ........by just starting it up and letting it idle for 1/2 hour ur not actually getting the bike up to its full operating temp and ur actually doing more damage than good, to correctly burn off said condensation inside the motor this requires a 20 mile or more ride which brings the internal motor temp to its correct temp... ......ok rant over!!
Heres picture proof:
To the OP, as already mentioned either a fan, dehumidifier, a light bulb, or i just picked up 2 small buckets of damprid which i have sitting on the floor beside both bikes. Put rags in the pipes and put dryer sheets on top of motor and anywhere else on the bike u want to keep the rodents away!!
