But when you sit on your bike, do you feel good with PYO bar or not? comfortable?
Did not really have them on long enough to make a judgement call. Will put them back on tomorrow and play around for feel. after that I will call the supplier and discuss options.
10s measure 12, 12's measure 14. If you measure the right angle height from the base to the tip of the bar you should get close to 10. My 12s measured 14 when doing it like your pic. They sit taller than my friend's HCC 13's. I went +6 on the brake and +8 on the clutch and on could've gone +6 on the clutch and been fine. I think you're ok. Run the clutch with out connecting it to anything just zip tie it in place. Turn the bars if it's not tight you'll be fine. Mount the bars without routing anything. Sit on the bike. If they feel good keep them if not send them back.
I did confirm today that the bars are 12". Talked to the company I purchased them from and they are willing to exchange them. Only catch is that they are on backorder and do not have a eta.
Good news is that my +4 cables were shipping today and I was able to modify my order to +6 should work fine.
Need do decide on keep or exchange. Played around with them this morning before work and the one spot they felt good seemed as if they were pulled back quite a bit.
Felt good to me but not the same look as all the others I have seen with the bars straight up.
anyway working on the extensions and will make a decision within a couple days.
thanks for the input. I'll post pics upon completion.
