Best Way can answer that question is look .. Cost me $200.00 plus my old inner fairing for exchange ..
I always add is a good time to swap your Air Temp for an Oil Temp Gauge as well and if got any designs on upgrading your tunes this is the time to do it .. If got the Coin ..
Wow, big difference from stock inner fairing. Who did you send yours out to for the swap and paint?
Anyone out there with pictures of a Candy Red Sunglo or Crimson Red Sunglo and gloss black inner fairing? Have seen numerous bikes with the color matched inner fairings but haven't seen one with the gloss black inner fairing on a non-black bike. Wife and I can't decide between color matching the inner fairings or going with the gloss black for a nice contrast.
Was a guy in Jacksonville that did it will try to run down name and location .. was 2 years ago and forgot what I ate for breakfast this morning ..
Jay,
Do you remember if the guys name was Paul Barber? A friend of mine had his card and asked me if I've heard of his work. Chris Adamec told me he had his done by him. I think he charges $300-350 for batwings now but he does all the work! (if you're local to the NE Florida area of course.)
I didnt do mine but I'm not that handy and it was worth paying the dealer a couple hundred $$ for them to do it. Others may not share in that opinion but they are probably much more handy than I am.
