No clue? Go figure. Any first year tech should know the weight of a fork oil they're working with, well, you would think anyway. I don't think you'd like the ride with that heavy oil up front.

the really amazing part of this is that hd does not sell a 30wt fork oil, so they were selling another brand vs their own.

click on the link above i posted in an earlier post.The charts show many brands of fork oil. check the various 10wt oils,,,,,,,,,none of them have the same vicosities.............every brand has their own system of determining weight ,There is no standard!

i've been using the se heavy and it works great in my streetglide. it removed the dive when coming to a stop using the front brakes, and improved the ride a lot. the 30 wt would be very stiff and i recommend against it. the se heavy is the best compromise for handling and cushiness in my opinion.
Where did they get it? The Se Fork oil is 7.5 and SE heavy is 10wt. I would not waste the labor and dont assemble it with that oil IMO you will be changing it bak to a lighter oil.
I like a firm ride and usually swap out springs and oil early in the ownership of my bike and on all 4 of my HDs Ive used the SE Fork oil (7.5) and in 3 Ive changed to Progressive springs

Go w/a medium weight assuming that 5 would be light and 15 would be heavy.
I went with the 7.5 when I changed out my front end to chrome and monotubes and she is smooothe!!
