I just installed 10" Monkey Bars on my 2009 Electra Glide Classic and am now installing a +4" front brake line. The issue is there is a peg at the bottom of the triple trees next to the bolt hole for the break line splitter that is in the way of the splitter laying flush on the trees. The factory splitter was curved around this peg, but the aftermarket Drag Specialties splitter is not.
Did other people grind this peg off to make room?
I've talked to Tech Support, but they haven't been much help.

It's just a roll pin. It needs to be removed.
I tried regular and channel lock pliers. Neither works.
Got a pair of heavy dykes, and pinched that sucker, and used leverage by prying up on the bottom of the tree. Came right out.
