I understand the knock offs are just that, but also i cant see dropping almost 600 bucks on a set of slip ons when i can get a full true dual set up for almost the same price...
If you search ebay for harley megaphone mufflers, they are in the 200$ range.
so the way i look at it, im getting the black set anyway so the discoloring wont bother me and for the money i saved i will buy true dual headpipes.
Wont be making the jump until i run my fatcat some more to see if i like it or not. This is my back up plan no with out a question though
Jake do a video for those of us considering the CFRs would ya?
You guys will have to help me with posting a video, never done one. Lindsey from ironaces says its the best sounding pipes she has ever heard, her favorite... I also have read many posts on here about them. I think its the sound I'm looking for on my street glide. They are expensive but suppose to be top quality.
Link right to KC International, I'm with you Nightrider for under $200 to try them out and maybe have to repack them I'm up for it. I have heard real CFR's but for the price they want NAAAAAAAAA.

thoise do sound nice..can anyone compare to the Rinehart 4" slip-ons on a 2010 SG. I bought these...spent more money on the larger baffle...still horrible!

Rinehart 3.5's. Sound is a little off but the idea is there. This is NOT my bike or my video..
Have been thinking about the CFR slip ons for awhile now but couldnt find a video with even an average sound clip. this gentlmen finally did a video that wasnt him revving it up in the garage with a shut door. Includes comparison to stock and take off and fly by video. finally! ha
thanks for the props guys!! That's my bike and video, filmed by my beautiful wife. I love my knockoffs. As a baller on a budget, couldn't justify the 600 on the real deal CFRs right now, but wanted something besides stock. Only complaint so far (about 1k miles w/ the new pipes) is the blueing/yellowing at the header mount. If these blow out, I'll go for the real deal pipes.
AIDENSDAD- sorry, didnt mean to jack your video but it was the first decent one i had found so yeah props on that! I was thinking in my mind that im sure you had to be on HDforums ha! Thanks for the video!
Ninghtrider - no apologies necessary. Like you, I couldn't find any decent videos which is partly why I went with the knockoffs. So, after getting them, I knew I had to make a vid w/ all the things I wanted to see when looking for a video. Lil help from the wife and voila! Just out of curiosity, how many people hating on the knockoffs could tell a difference if I didn't own up to it?
Buyer beware I know 2 guys that have the knockoffs and they no longer sound like the real CFRs they blow out. They sound way louder and have lost the rumble it's total different sound. One guy sold his and got the real CFR's and couldn't be happpier .You get what you pay for.
