I'm looking to sit a little lower in the seat and add a backrest. Thought about getting a Sundowner because that was on my old Heritage, but not sure thats the route I should go? I'm 6', 170lbs...and have about 32 inch inseam. Any advice out there on a seat that I should look at?
Do what I did and call C&C Seats. Chuck and Chuey will make you a great seat! Top quality, superb craftsmanship, fairly priced. I have the leather SportTourer with matching rider backrest with custom stitching. They even recovered my stock passenger backrest to match. Mention HDForums and get 10% discount.
No doubt C&C makes a great seat......just from my experience though..after 4 or 5 hours the seat gets uncomfortable.....With my Corbin I could ride all day without a problem..so I just ordered another Corbin. Everybody is different.....give C&C a try if you want--fine product and the service is second to none.
Another vote C&C Seats! Great looks, top notch quality & customer service! 500 mile days are no problem here, 800 once but that was about the limit for my broken down, old, fat a$$! Like mjb said, everyone is different. I never could get use to my rock hard Corbin and got rid of it after 18,000 or so miles.

I WAS a die-hard Corbin fanatic. Still have my Gunfighter&Lady on my 1999 FXR2. Great saddle and could ride forever on it. Everybody says they are hard and uncomfortable but I disagree. Wanted another one for my 2010 StreetGlide but when I called to order one with some custom fitting the answer I got was, "Sorry, you get what you get and nothing special can be done." Thats when I started shopping for an alternative. Stumbled onto C&C reading here on the Forum. Called them and spoke to Chuck several times and finally ordered my SportTourer. Every bit as good a saddle as any Corbin I have ever seen. Customer service is absolutely AAA+++ with C&C. Turnaround was less than two weeks for a custom stitched leather saddle with backrest. I am now a die-hard C&C fan. I dont think you can find a better saddle today at the same price. Corbin is NOT the same company anymore and their service pretty much shows how far they have fallen from the top. Just sayin......
