Default Tour-pak Light (inside)

My light is melted and needs replaced. I'm looking for an alternative to the MoCo unit if somethings out there.

You must have the old incandescent light. They were replaced because of all the dead batteries they caused...The new ones are LED. Not the greatest either. But wont run the battery out. Could try one of those peel-n-stick lights. Don't think I've ever seen an aftermarket kit.

Picked up one of these at a gas station Sylvania DOT-it Silver Self-Adhesive Bright White Silver LED Light works just fine. Or Amazon also has them

I just use the cheap "tap light" usually under $10 and have a self adhesive back.

Yea, incandescent.....good to know the overpriced LED unit isn't that great.

Trying to figure out how to tap into the 194 bulb socket to run a LED strip and utilize the mercury switch.

I think I will do just that. But I think I will put some industrial velcro on back that way if I should need a light to do some work, I could just pull it off, use it, then put it back when finished.

That's what I did. One in each saddlebag too. When I'm camping I can pull all 3 off and have plenty of light for the tent or around the campsite.
