This is an easy answer. WE CAN'T stand it. LOL!! It SUCKS lookin at the ride in the garage as it stares back at you askin "Why aren't you riding me? Don't you love me anymore? (sniff sniff)".
Ha ha. The worst is in Feb when the international motorcycle show comes to town here in the Chicago area. We go, we see, we drool, we buy a few things, then go home in 20 degree or lower temps and get even more irritated with winter.
Sounds fun huh? My wife hates this time of year cause she knows I turn into a miserable bastard. LOL!!
If there is no snow or ice on the roads, I throw on the heated gear and go for a ride. Been a good winter so far, first big snow was yesterday and with luck it will rain over the weekend (supposed to be in mid to upper 30"s) and it will be gone.

The forecast calls for rain for the next two days, so the earliest I will get to ride is three days from now. The wait is driving me crazy. How in the world do you Northern guys cope with not being able to ride after you've installed your new accessories?
You don't ride when it rains?
I don't ride when there's snow or ice..... other than that......I ride.
Ski. Hot Tub. Remodel. Visit family. Watch football. Darts. Pool. Ice Fish. Workout. Wish I had a heated garage. Go for walks. Snowshoe. Curling. Hockey. Figure Skating.
I don't do all those things. But someone does. Really the worst part of the year is when winter won't end. Like last April when it snowed 10" on April 20. Not riding in the winter, makes you appreciate it more in the spring. I never take riding weather for granted.
I have 5 bikes in my garage for winter storage. They will all be detailed by the time riding season gets here. With 365 saturdays every year I have a lot of time to burn. There is no better way than to be working on a bike.
i go out an throw a leg over the snowmobile. we have a pretty nice trail system here is a lot of fun. i get just as much if not more excitement on the sled because your pretty much free to do what you want. there is no speed limit or wreckless opp laws lol.
