i have non-vented lowers on mine and no problems the only time i keep my feet on the floor boards is if it's raining. i am one of those guys that only use the highway pegs. just my opinion

The bullet style turn indicators hit thr lowers in tight turns. I thought about putting spacers in but how would the covers fit on.
