dealer is gonna say bring it in for diagnostic, then they will say its all fine. Should only cost ya $100

i smell gas but its due to my fuel tuner and thats a good thing. unless u r talking about unburned gas then thats not normal.

Have always had a gas odor in the garage immediately after parking the bike and closing the door. FWIW every fuel injected bike I've had did the same thing. Didn't have the odor with carbed bikes.

My stock 2011 Limited does it too. Stronger smell than the previous 1995 Ultra which was also fuel injected and stage three. This new bike also gets lousy fuel mileage.

My 12 Ultra does the same thing. Really notice it if I close the garage door within a couple of minutes of parking it. If I leave the gargage door open and let it vent for 10-15 minutes before closing it up, no odor. Also mine doesn't take till morning to go away..gone in a couple of hours max.

My 2011 limited does it too..... I started to loosen and tighten (open - close) the gas cap when I park it and it seemed to help......

Does it smell like raw fuel or burnt fuel. There is a slight difference. Raw fuel seems to just smell in my nose where burnt fuel leaves a taste in my throat.

I had and found my problem

Hey all the other day i started smelling raw fuel from my 2012 flhr. For the first time. Today i popped the seat and found that the "purge" line going to the evap canister had lossened up enough to let some vaper out. Pushed it in and the smells gone.
