Default Hyper charger

Has anyone used them on a touring bike. I know not to believe the performance gain from them I just like the looks better than the stock cover and don't like the screaming eagle cone one. Any recommendations are welcome.

Anything is better than a Hypercharger - junk!

Lots of ideas here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...ke-please.html

Yep, Hypercharger is junk. Baron's Customs makes some tear drop one's that are pretty cool.

I don't know that they are junk. The wider model tends to look better and probably has better air flow. The biggest drawback is the instalation to get a vacumn hose to work the butterflies. I believe you have to pull the throttle body and drill something out, if I remember right. I use Kuryakyn's Velociraptor and like it very well. I have used lots of Kuryakyn stuff over the years and most all has been excellent.

Yes, but all the flapper crap is useless machinery that adds a failure vector, and the only reason is for the marketing razzmatazz - look, it opens up when you twist the throttle!

Just let the air in for pete's sake, why the flaps?!
