Just my personal opinion....but I have learned and develooed a perosnal respect for a subtle well blended combo of the two. I have lots of little chrome goodies on mine now, but Im adding more black to balance it out. They just flat out look great together....I think too much chrome is borderline gawdy and a pain in the *** to clean all the time anyway. A well defined mixture of the two looks awesome.

Too much black and no chrome can hide fine details but the outlaw look of blacked out is popular....miminal is good for some.......

Ultimately you wouldnt want a complete stranger picking who you marry or date for you......well your Harley is your Harley...it should suit your needs and look the way you like it.....opinions are fine and can be a guideline but you do not wanna dump tons of money making your bike someone elses, only to have to re do it later or be stuck with a bike you ideally should be setting out to make yours in the first place.

Make it yours and love it.

Thanks for all the post so far. Indeed the end decision will be mine alone but I'm definitely diggin the combo of the two. Black with subtle hints of chrome. I'd like to hear what everyone else has to say though. I'm ordering my 16" wild ones tomorrow and am so indecisive on what to go with so that's why I opened this thread. I Love the chrome on a darker colored bike but that black just makes it stand out in a crowd...You know? One question i have about the black bars is how bad/ or do they scratch?

Black Chrome!

I kinda of said that as a joke, but now that I've been looking at some, I really like the look.

I like matt paint and I like black parts however I'm unsure how that will go on a blue scoot.

I'm trying to picture it in my mind along with the various matt colours I've seen on here:

Matt silver - goes with black
Matt red - goes with black
Matt black - goes with black

Matt blue - I'm just thinking will look better with chrome - but its not my scoot it's yours so you decide!
