Default deciding between 12" and 13" arnott

Hi guys I'm having trouble deciding between 12 and 13" arnott bilstin air ride. I like the look of the lower bike but also like the option to ride at stock height. I guess my biggest question is if you raise the 13" shock to about 12" can you ride around comfortably or would a 12" shock raised all the way ride much better? I weigh roughly 170lbs and ride solo most of the time. Any input is appreiciated.

I have the 12's on my 10flrtx and I had the 12's on my 07flrs both running 18" rear rims and 21" fronts and I think they ride good. With the bike slammed I do not get any rubbing btw I'm 5'10" 185lbs

I put a 21" wheel up front and I decided to do 13"s in the back I like it! I really never cared what the bike looked like while in motion. my stretched fender cost to much to drag so I figure the 13" was a good idea. but I am 250lbs so I need an extra inch of suspension. lol

Where does the pump mount on one of those air ride systems? Does it go behind the left frame cover?

I would prefer the extra height when riding. Might pick up a passenger or pack for a trip and need it. My setup will go to 14" and the extra clearance comes in handy on the Dragon as well as the rough spot around here.
