Braided Brake Lines...2011 FLTRX with ABS!
Anyone running braided lines with ABS? I have my ride torn down a bit to finish stereo and amp and was wanting to put some front lines on at least. HD has a kit but sure is pricey. Have done a search all over and can't find anything aftermarket. And I assume after lines are installed the dealer has to re-set ABS module or something like that. I have bled my brakes with no issues but different than changing lines I take it. Any info appreciated.

I just installed some last week. I purchased from Hill Country Custom motorcycles http://www.hillcountrycustomcycles.c...ines-C121.aspx Afterwards I had to take to the dealer to bleed them and reset the computer. I guess there is a sensor for the ABS. Dealer charged me $65.

drag specialties carries magnum sterling chromite 2 cables that are braded and clear coated u can get them in black too abs is a 3 piece line if you replace it yur upper runs from the mc to the abs block then the midline runs from the block to the bottom of the tripple trees and it connects into the lower that set up will run you about 200 roughly...

Yep. Used HD Diamondback braided lines. Two years into it now. Still look for perform great. Dealer install at time of purchase. You should be able to reverse bleed your new lines back to the abs module and avoid going to the dealer. There was recent post on that procedure.
