Add GMRS Radio to Electra Glide Ultra Limited
Going to do a long group ride. A few have CB but quite a few of the group have the GMRS Radios.
I'm trying to figure out how to use both. I have a Garmin GPS that I have plugged into the Aux in on the Harley Radio. It does GPS & Mp3. I know there is a mixer Mixit2 which I think I could take the output of the GMRS radio and plug it into the priority channel so when someone talks it would mute the music. Kennedy also makes an adapter but it's over $400. I'm thinking there should be a cheaper way to do this. Maybe a y cord with mute or some sort of adapter that would mute one input if there is something on the other. I do want it to mute the music so I don't have to keep adjusting the volume. Any ideas ?
