You didn't give much info about the deflectors... what kind of bike do you have? are they fork wind deflectors or something else? without a picture your question is hard to answer.

If you are talking about the pieces that mount to outside of the forks, I really dont like the looks of them too much BUT, if they made a pair to put on the Screamin Eagles, I would buy a pair. There is a lot of annoying wind that comes up from that area. If ya can get then pretty cheap, try them and see what you think.

They make your bike look like a chick with huge meat curtains.

It's a motorcycle, there will be wind.

I love it This is precisely the reason I got a shorter windshield and lost the lowers: so I could feel the wind.

If you are talking H-D part #58121-85B fork mounted wind deflector for touring bikes.
They are not much on looks, but work well. Kuryakyn also makes some too, they look
a little different and work about the same with adjustable slots. There is other wind
deflectores that mount to the fairings, and some that mount to the frame, plus there
is one that mounts to the lower fork, H-D part #58520-79TC called a fork air baffle.
That is all I am to say, not knowing what you are riding Road King or Full Touring.<-_->

They work. I put them on in the winter and take them off in the spring. The nay sayers are the ones who won't ride in cool weather anyway. I don't care as much about looks as I do riding.

What's ya looking at - batwings on fairing, fork baffle deflector, or fork/side deflectors???

You guys either dazzled him with brilliance, or baffled him with BS, as he hasn't come back.
If talking about the deflectors on a batwing, get the adjustable ones, now standard on new Harley Ultras. The similar aftermarkets ones are called Freedom Wings, as well as the Kuryakin product. You can adjust them to direct airflow. A good thing in hot or cold weather.

Fork baffle: A beveled half circle mounted to the back of the top of your fork that keeps your mustache from blowing up your nose. Been there, done that.

Fork deflectors: Without them, the air will go around the front of your bike, and collapse against your rear cylinder. That's a good thing to have happen in summer. With them, the air is deflected farther out, and doesn't collapse back until mid rear wheel. That's a good thing to have happen in cool weather.
